How to Load, Fire and Unload a Colt Revolver

How to Load, Fire and Unload a Colt Army Special Revolver

*Before you pick up a gun please educate yourself on proper gun handling procedures and techniques.

Always point the gun "down range" which means point the gun towards the target and away from you or anyone else.

To open up the chamber press the chamber release switch.

Rotate the cylinder outward.

Make sure that the chambers are clear.

One at a time place the proper bullet (32-20 pictured) into each chamber.

Rotate cylinder back into place.

While pointing the gun down range (and not touching the trigger) place your thumb on the hammer.

Pull back, like so.

Aim and fire.

Once all of the bullets have been fired its time to unload the cylinder. Rotate the cylinder outwards,

use the ejection rod to push the casings out of the chambers,

and let gravity do the rest. Please be respectful and dispose of the empty casings properly.
